we starting have issue our vmware 0 clients. running windows 7 ent. 64bit. seems work ok logging in , starting outlook 2007, prompts credentials , flows smoothly. our issue comes when user removes card , locks session while outlook 2007 still running. i have windows 2003r2 vm server. in task manager, gpupdate.exe shows 98%~100% cpu usage every morning when come office, options have either kill in task manager or reboot server. the monitor shows high usage starts 5~6am around 8am when come in. if run gpupdate /force in cmd after kill process in task manager, appears no issue no errors in eventlog or result of group policy. no other servers have same issue under same gpo. this been happening daily week already, tried change gpo refresh interval, no luck not sure else can or can start check. i dont think virus has no virus behaviour , sep ok well. anyone can help?    do have scripts scheduled run server in question ? also, please reboot server , try last known configuration. see if makes difference. hello people, i becoming nuts. i have brand-new wsus 3.0 sp2. i'm trying setup ssl on it, , i've been stuck same issue 3 days. the server name toto.child.rootdomain.ext, , i've configured gpo accessed via https://wsus.rootdomain.ext . the need https need use wsus software update point in sccm native mode. i had first tried set directly wsus sccm sup, client updates fail error still encountering. to make troubleshooting simpler, trying set ssl on wsus, still getting same error in clients' windowsupdate.log. i created certificate on our ca (with certificate name = wsus.rootdomain.ext), confiured iis it, enabled ssl on adequate virtual directories, ran wsusutil configuressl wsus.rootdomain.ext. still client fail 80072f0c error. i've seen many people having error on web, did not find solution. please find log below. may add without ssl, wsus works charm. #############            ## start ##  au: search updates            #########            <<## submitted ## au:

hello, i having issue wsus @ work. in charge of deploying updates, , set deployed on tuesdays @ midnight, however, when deploy them getting updates 30 minutes later , late next day, instead of actual tuesday following acceptance of update. gpresult /h shows being "deployed" on tuesdays, never does. how fix this? second issue, running gpupdate /force on users systems them update group policy updates, however, last 2 systems have done on (new systems setup), not being added. these first 2 have done in few weeks, , in period between updates have done windows updates server. can cause of this? else getting updates , fine, except these 2 machines. how fix issue? please advise. lawrence, they not in correct ou. cannot believe let slip mind. help! i having trouble configuring folder redirection , roaming profiles in server 2008 r2.  policies being enabled administrators , not users exception of contact's folder(which did not wish redirect)  intention have server users connect using rdp able access applications , files.  server dc , users documents stored on dc period of time until can budget proper file server. trying redirect documents folders rdp users d:\users , documents\userdocs\  unp of \\server\userdocs$ trying set roaming profile path rdp users d:\users , documents\userprofiles unp of \\server\userprofiles$\%username% because redirection works administrators have access , not users(who don't have access everything) suspecting problem folder permissions unsure of how configure these permissions or configure folder redirection , roaming profiles matter. please help, gurus. hi, indeed. correctly setup folder redirection need proper ntfs permissions. recommend read: http://www.virtualizationadmin.com/article
