Folder Redirection and roaming profiles

i having trouble configuring folder redirection , roaming profiles in server 2008 r2.  policies being enabled administrators , not users exception of contact's folder(which did not wish redirect)  intention have server users connect using rdp able access applications , files.  server dc , users documents stored on dc period of time until can budget proper file server.

trying redirect documents folders rdp users d:\users , documents\userdocs\  unp of \\server\userdocs$
trying set roaming profile path rdp users d:\users , documents\userprofiles unp of \\server\userprofiles$\%username%

because redirection works administrators have access , not users(who don't have access everything) suspecting problem folder permissions unsure of how configure these permissions or configure folder redirection , roaming profiles matter.

please help, gurus.

indeed. correctly setup folder redirection need proper ntfs permissions. recommend read: http://www.virtualizationadmin.com/articles-tutorials/terminal-services/performance/configure-folder-redirection.html. howto explains how setup folder redirection , need working.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine
