hi chaps, need / answers. we have following network : 1 x head office = 2 x win 2003 domain controllers, 40 desktop pc's. 8mb/8mb internet connection. 11 x remote sites = site site vpn head office, each site has 5 xp desktop computers, logon domain.  remote sites have 3mb/512kb typical adsl connections. any user logs onto domain not  have local admin rights, simple "users" no admin rights. we not have wsus server. all pc's set group policy install windows updates off microsoft web site every evening , reboot. i need install dot net framework 4.0 onto pc's locally , @ remote sites. my research showing me not supported ms install framework 4.0 via group policy.  can please confirm , if pass me microsoft document show's this. is there other way in domain can see easy way of deploying .net framework 4.0 computers.  remember users not have admin rights , not have wsus server. as possibly answer can please confirm install wsus server work in do

we have upcoming archiving project will archive, stub , remove contents of our users' home folders (u:\ drive). there option exclude private folder. need create new folder in users home folder cannot rename or remove will have full control of contents of new private folder not archived. able work once by removing (not denying) "delete subfolders , files" on parent folder u:\ drive but also prevents user being able to change in root of u:\ drive won't work. i need able replicate creation of private folder of our users , lock down folder domain admins can remove or rename folder u:\ drive. users need able store whatever not want archived in folder. can offer suggestions? i figured out.  here steps used on parent folder (u:\ drive), users permissions need adjusted remove not deny "delete subfolders , files" option folder only still on parent folder, add full control creator owner subfolders , files only on private folder lock

i have gpo configured lock down our rds server. gpo contains settings such blocking users accessing c volume, shown below.   since user setting, have enabled group policy loopback processing shown below: this gpo linked ou containing rds server. have filtered scope apply group called test-rds. when log in rds server user member of test-rds group, , force gpupdate, can still access c volume.  when run gpresult /h showing policies not applying. when link same gpo domain, , force gpupdate, not have access c volume. when run gpresult /h affected policies. i have configured central store , verified replication working properly.  am doing wrong? in advance.  it looks adding individual computers scope resolved issue. may have took while replicate policy applied now.  Windows Server  > 

i'm having issue kind of stuttering/freezing/choking/hiccups (whatever want call it) every few minutes. it's same if computer have bluescreen computer , audio kind of freezes/loops, lasts perhaps 0.1 0.3 seconds each time. happens no matter i'm doing, when not touching computer , listening music. i tried formatting , reinstalling windows 10, thing noticed seems problem did not exists on build 9841, it's hard tell since upgraded build 9879 quite after installing build 9841. build 9860 had same problem. it's quite annoying , pretty forcing me going windows 7 or sticking build 9841 (if work). has else experienced or has idea how try fix it? tried google it, no results. here dxdiag information in pastebin the reason why having issue " stuttering/freezing/choking/hiccups (whatever want call it)" , is because windows 10 tp isn't optimize yet. happen quite lot in build of windows 10 tp. remember windows 10 tp not ready use average user.
