Strange Bsod. It have error on symEFA64.Sys but when I disable the MSiscsi service then Bsod disappear


hi @ all,
have 5 physical servers , after patch update in may when rebooted servers 3 of them not start , show bsod
with stop 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005e .......) , error driver symantec symefa64.sys.
after several trials starting in safe mode servers have begun function after disabling microsoft msiscsi service.
i use
this service for iscsi initiator able use iscsi disks have set on nas , make windows backup of servers.
if enable again
the service msiscsi bsod usual error , signaling driver symefa64.sys.
on other 2 server msiscsi service active , servers work well.
the servers in various versions of dell r720, r710, r410, r420 , pe840. operating systems win2008r2 , 1 win2012r2. all servers patched , service pack. the 2 servers have not had bsod r420 win2012 , pe840 windows 2008r2.

symantec has released sep 12.1 ru6 , in fix notes symefa64.sys related bug listed.

blue screen error bugcheck system_thread_exception_not_handled (7e) in symefa64.sys

fix id: 3615258

symptom: blue screen error occurs bugcheck system_thread_exception_not_handled (7e), caused symefa64.sys.

solution: changed query statement in symefa address issue.

reference: new fixes in symantec endpoint protection 12.1.6
