Replication errors

i getting replication errors on 2008 r2 dc's. in the child domains when try force replication sites , services following error

he system detected possible attempt compromise security please ensure can contact server authenticated

i dont think nt4 security issue not sure else at. events ds log showing unable find gc server(event 1126) event right before (1869) saying had found gc on same server. ideas can for?

repadmin /syncall fails error above , this

 

"sycall exited fatal win32 error: 8440 ...the naming context specified replication operation invalid

did change configuration before issue first began?

 

you may perform following troubleshooting suggestions:

 

1.    i confirm use ipv6? if not, please disable them check result. detailed steps, please refer link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852.

2.    check if dcs’ tcp/ip settings pointed same dns server? may run command: ipconfig /all check output , compare dns servers setting. please post output in next reply "santhosh" required.

3.    check if srv records displayed correctly in dns server? if not, try re-register dcs srv records restarting netlogon service or run command: nltest.exe /dsregdns.

4.    disable firewall check if works? if works, please check , open ports active directory replication uses on firewalls. detailed information, please refer link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727063.aspx
