hi all, i have below use case: 1. created vm 1 vhd , 1 vhdx disk on hyperv2012 r2 hypervisor. 2. created 1 bootable iso contains vmlinuz & initrd file oracle enterprise linux 6.4 media. 3. mount created media on vm , booted vm using cd boot option. 4. when machine boots ata_piix controller gets loaded @ initrd stage. while unloading ata_piix, crashes , generate call trace. 5. when there single disk attached vm loading , unloading of ata_piix controller happens successfully, without problem.(note: disks running on ide controller). 6. 1 more strange thing is: when add 1 more virtual processor i.e. if 2 virtuall processors present in vm ata_piix gets uunloaded successfully, without crash. if single processor there if 1 disk attached. ata_piix gets unloaded if more 1 disk attached vm, unloading of ata_piix generate crash. need resolve issue. please , let me know if need further info resolve same. thanks, indus. hi sir, it beyond scope of can support >
