Group Policy to clean up Printer mappings

hello

i looking advice around clearing printer mappings in group policy.

we had gpo preference in place in 'replace mode' map printers.  this taking long time complete part of gpo extension due number of printers , ilt go through.  i changed method update speed process.

there scenario user accumulate large number of printers not removed when jumping site site.  so there way group policy (don't want script) can run remove printers on weekly basis , start fresh on monday morning?.  i retain default network printer?  in ilt have seen date preference use wondering if may work if create delete each printer on friday.  the problem guess user need logged in on date policy run?

any advice great?

thanks

wont work. gpp printers cannot delete based on "wildcards", ,
it unable determine default printer. , you're right -
user has logged on , gpudate has take place.

sometimes wonder why people fancy gpp whereas script
could such job far better...
