hi,

according description, may encounter problem amd cpu or hyper-v.

first, should check amd athlon 64 processor whether it supports hyper-v.

there 2 tools can use:

tool 1: amd hyper-v check tool,

m fawzi provide link:

tools 2: securable,

note: please check computer before installing hyper-v these 2 tools. tools may report incorrect state if have installed hyper-v.

for more information this, please refer blog:

it doesn't feel hypervisor me...

second, if computer compatible hyper-v, please check version of hyper-v.

if location in regional , language options set not us, , version of hyper-v not rtm version (6.0.6001.18016), find “new” option under “action” not exist.

you can install kb950050.exe fix issue. this hot fix update hyper-v rtm version. after installing, find “new” option under “action”. to download update, please refer following microsoft knowledge base article:

950050  description of update release version of hyper-v technology windows server 2008
