Word 2010 Template File (.dotx) with Different Mail Merge Logos Using INCLUDEPICTURE

sorry background, more information better not enough.  i work software company , 1 of our features take data form, put mail merge word document, converts pdf , sends out via email recipient(s).  all done automatically, user never accesses word document, pulls converted pdf.  we have 6 possible logos can inserted converted pdf document.  i can simple insert link pic have pull in 1 logo, needs fluid based upon merge field.  i looked on web , no solution seems help, hoping doing incorrect running out of hope.  so far have following:

{_includepicture_"{_if_true_"c:\\image_folder\\logos\\{mergefield_pmco_}.jpg"_}"_/d_}

where _ included above indicate spaces have.

the mergefield pmco pull in either 1,2,3,4,5 or 6, hoping have pull in 3.jpg pdf automatically.

with above statement inserted .dotx files, mail merge results in error filename not specified.

thank in advance , please let me know if can provide more information.

well, things may tricky @ point, depending on wrote code, type of code is, , how of there is. if you're not familiar code yourself, hard find , interpret. if want try...

first, if you're using third party product chances wouldn't able @ code anyway. if it's proprietary code, perhaps written else in company, might have ask source code, particularly if it's .net code (c# or vb.net, say). if it's vba, speaking, code either in document (it .docm or .doc) or in template/addin (a .dotm usually).

if it's template/addin, can have @ current list of addins in word using file->options->addins. may give clue type of addin have. also, since vba code can "obfuscated", may not able see doing following...

to @ vba code in .docm or .dotm, need
 a. enable developer tab in word, if necessary, checking relevant box in right-hand column in via file->options->customize ribbon

 b. click developer tab, visual basic icon @ left hand end

 c. have down list of projects , see if can spot 1 providing functionality describe.

 d. if it's .dotm, think need open .dotm using word's normal file->open command. while it's attached/opened template, can't @ vba.

if manage open correct template/document, code organised under particular project, in thisdocument, in "forms" (possibly), "modules" , "class modules". can double-click on each 1 see what's in there. whether of make sense matter!
