Group Policy Preferences - Services - Log on as - Configure Network Service?

this not seem possible, or missing something? i've tried

nt authority\network service

and

network service

with location set kdavis (machine).

"an object (user) following account name cannot found: network service"

right now, setting service account manually, sure prefer via gp.

hi laurin,

in opinion, need check box built-in security principals after click object types.

if not check type, see error message:

an object (user) following account name cannot found: network service

here similar thread below reference.
