Ban mobile devices from DHCP? Not working in 2008 R2


hello. trying ban mobile devices our corporate network receiving dhcp address. here situation. go dhcp leases , see john's-ipad. ip of 192.168.101.200. right click on , press "add filter - deny" delete address lease. goes away, next day if person comes back, connects again , given address though device id (mac) listed under deny. how can stop please. thank you

so seems add mac address deny list, can confirm if have enabled deny list ?

 

to enable allow list, deny list, or both, follow these steps:
1. in dhcp console, right-click ipv4 node, , click properties.
2. on filters tab, you’ll see current filter configuration details. use allow list, select enable allow list. use deny list, select enable deny list.
3. click ok save changes.
