BCDEdit.exe Syntax to Remove DVD-Rom from Boot

i receive error message in event viewer each time reboot windows 2008 standard r2 64 bit server.  error message indicates cd/dvd rom not loaded.  server not have cd/dvd rom drive.  did use external dvd drive load os.  however, dvd drive no longer connected server.  appears need use bcdedit.exe edit boot devices.  have made several unsuccessful attempts @ syntax remove dvd rom boot bcdedit utility.  could please help?  tia

it seems device driver still running when booting computer. please try following steps see if can fix issue:

1. right click computer , chooses properties.

2. click "advanced system settings", , click "environment variables"

3. click "new" under "system variables"

4. enter "devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices" (without quotations) in variable name, , set variable value 1.

5. click ok apply change.

6. right click computer, choose properties, , choose hardware tab, click device manager.

7. enter device manager, , choose "view" tab , "click show hidden devices".

8. check if there cdrom listed. if so, right click on , choose uninstall.

what difference between wuauclt1.exe , wuauclt.exe files ( under system32 folder ) ? in of cases, windows update service is not working client machines having these 2 files. even tried delete wuauclt1.exe, created automatically. what difference between wuauclt1.exe , wuauclt.exe files ( under system32 folder ) ? the wuauclt1.exe (and sister file wuaueng1.dll) components of legacy au agent shipped operating systems released prior 2005. Windows 2016 RDS event 1306 Connection Broker Client failed to redirect the user... Error: NULL

i'm attempting setup windows 2016 rds standard deployment session hosting.  layout follows: rds01 - rds connection broker , web access ts02 - rds session host ts03 - rds session host domain these servers part of has (1) windows 2008 server , (2) windows 2016 servers acting dcs.  domain running @ windows 2003 functional level. servers on single routed network no firewall between them.  dns , ptr records servers exist , resolve on hosts.  servers can pinged each other. in other words, there no network connectivity issues. i've setup rds deployment several times w/ same results. the issue can login via rdweb interface on rds01 win10 desktop , connect published rdp desktop without issue (i.e. no error messages user) , no errors in logs.  when try directly rdp rds01, authenticate user (per event log) error stating user doesn't have access system.  in event log event id 1306 message of "remote desktop connection broker client faile...
