Opening Word 2007 docs in Word 2013 and formatting is changed??

we installed 2 new pc's on network office 2013.  everyone else running 2007.  when existing file opened on either of 2 pc's running word 2013 formatting , layout changed.  the font changed though same font available , layout changed little , document not fit on 1 page more.  it shifts 2 or 3 lines @ bottom next page.  when open same file in word 2007 still good.  word 2013 opens file in 'compatibility mode' still layout changed.  we have hundreds of documents need able open in both word 2007 , 2013.  any suggestions on how can make work??

as far know, if open word 2007 file in word 2013 compatibility mode, preserve layout of document. recommend try convert document word 2013 mode test. steps:

  • click file tab.

  • to convert document without saving copy, click info, , click convert.

if issue still exists, send sample file via email (ibsofc@microsoft.com)? i'd test it.

it's recommended download , install configuration analyzer tool (offcat), developed microsoft support teams. once tool installed, can run @ time scan hundreds of known issues in office programs.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine

Windows 2016 RDS event 1306 Connection Broker Client failed to redirect the user... Error: NULL

i'm attempting setup windows 2016 rds standard deployment session hosting.  layout follows: rds01 - rds connection broker , web access ts02 - rds session host ts03 - rds session host domain these servers part of has (1) windows 2008 server , (2) windows 2016 servers acting dcs.  domain running @ windows 2003 functional level. servers on single routed network no firewall between them.  dns , ptr records servers exist , resolve on hosts.  servers can pinged each other. in other words, there no network connectivity issues. i've setup rds deployment several times w/ same results. the issue can login via rdweb interface on rds01 win10 desktop , connect published rdp desktop without issue (i.e. no error messages user) , no errors in logs.  when try directly rdp rds01, authenticate user (per event log) error stating user doesn't have access system.  in event log event id 1306 message of "remote desktop connection broker client failed redirect user &
