Teaming NICS for Cluster Private Networks

hi,

i under impression not recommended or supported team cluster private network adapters.
following microsoft article states there no restrictions on nic teaming cluster networks:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254101

windows server 2008 , windows server 2008 r2

in windows server 2008 , windows server 2008 r2, there no restrictions associated nic teaming , failover clustering feature. in windows server 2008, new microsoft failover cluster virtual adapter compatible nic teaming , allows used on network interface in failover cluster.

what other peoples thoughts on this?

microsoft partner

"since network adapter teaming provided hardware vendors, microsoft not provide support technology thru microsoft product support services. result, microsoft may ask temporarily disable or remove network adapter teaming software when troubleshooting issues teaming software suspect.

if problem resolved removal of network adapter teaming software, further assistance must obtained thru hardware vendor."

it`s not supported - it`s compatible. there`s difference.
