Server 2016 CB and Server Manager - Broken
morning
being adopter, , keen improve our rds infrastructure i've taken plunge , migrated parts of our deployment on server 2016.
i have problem though, 2016 cb (first thing upgraded) not seem want load configuration server manager running on windows 10 or server 2016 clients, error stating no rds deployments exist in server pool. load on win 8/2012 , it's fine.
running simple get-rdcertificate against cb windows 10 box returns same error, on server 2012 box , certificates returned.
i've turned on rdms ui log , can see following
component rdmsui: error in script execution on wutc-svr-rds1.blaa.org :
component deploymentmodel: failed fetch deployment information on rdms server wutc-svr-rds1.blaaaa.org : invalidoperation: (:) [invoke-wmimethod], comexception
component rdmsui: exception calling getjoinednodescount. exception.tostring(): . stacktrace: at system.runtime.interopservices.marshal.throwexceptionforhrinternal(int32 errorcode, intptr errorinfo)
at system.management.managementobject.invokemethod(string methodname, managementbaseobject inparameters, invokemethodoptions options)
at microsoft.remotedesktopservices.rdmanagement.model.wmi.rdmsjoinednode.getjoinednodecount(int32 roletype, int32& count)
at microsoft.remotedesktopservices.rdmanagement.model.wmi.rdmsenvironment.getjoinednodescount()
i've checked firewalls, security groups, gpo's, stray variables, , plenty more nothing makes sense.
i'm out of ideas! can help?
