File server migration from domain A to domain B.

dear friends

for reason planing migrate our file server fs1 member of domain new domain b.

fs1 consist more thane 400 root folder , 1000+ sub folders, looking solution implementing ntfs access permission folder using script/tools.

is there tools/script available same purpose? alternative?

i have concern on this.

1. if give permission manually how can remove old access list.

2. if give read access permission root folder happened sub-folder inheritances permission removed.

3. there chance folder might not accessible due ownership issue.

than in advance.

regards

hi,

if trust cannot created, permissions applied users in domain not recognized when moving file server domain b.

meanwhile if permission settings simple, such share modify permission, easy set permission icacls.
