Best Print Server

what best operating system performant , stable print server?

80% of workstations windows xp sp3

10% windows 7

10% windows 2000

i install windows 2008 r2 print server if workstations 32bit, ita choice you? advice?

thanks

you hit issue windows 2000 machines when opening printer properties of x64 shared printers.  clients can print fine , open local printer preferences, windows 2000 not recognize x64 (amd64) platform , throws dialog.

that said, best print server 2008 r2 print driver isolation enabled print drivers.  read on how add 32bit drivers 64bit machine.  when have never done this, it's challenge, there several ways this, once know one, others easy.
