Loopback check issue?

hi,

i can't use fqdn access web site hosted same machine provides web server, other computers, whether external or internal lan, can access server , authenticated without problem.  the situation similar loopback check issue in kb896861 except don't have error 401.3, browser complains don't connectivity. host trying access cannot pinged, did resolve correct ip.

the server virtual host running windows server 2008 , iis 7 in hyper-v. have external public dns resolves fqdn public ip supplied our provider; , map public ip private ip of virtual host.   

i tried disable loopback check detailed in kb article, not work. please help.

  expect happen. fqdn resolve public ip. if on server (or other machine on private network), address not web site. works public ip because of mapping.

  see web site form inside privte network need use local ip, or modify internal dns point server's private address. you cannot use mapping feature if are inside device mapping. traffic will not go out public side mapped in again!
