Is exFAT a good idea for 2008 R2 file server?


hi.

our shared drive size requirements have exploded. want know if idea start making shared drives formated in exfat opposed ntfs.

all of our systems (about 120) running windows xp pro sp3. have no plans in deploying windows 7 or os x machines. initial trials of win 7 , os x machines way too problematic. 

if need additional info give advice, please ask.

well, go ntfs, way have file security options , control, making sure hardware(drives) of shares have level of raid implemented ensure uptime , mitigate loss of data, in conjunction backup plan.
:p advice offered, if need more advised seek council , advice of paid professionals. answer 42, or reboot.
