anyone working published apps in windows server 2008 rc1?

hi jmaguire -

please take @ blogpost requirements accessing tswa on ws08 rc builds:

http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/2007/10/17/client-requirements-for-ts-web-access-in-windows-server-2008-release-candidate-rc0.aspx

you mention trying access tswebaccess xp sp3 , unable access tswa. ts activex control (needed tswa) disabled default in xpsp3 security measure. need explicitly enable terminal services activex control in ie in order use activex control (and hence tswa).

are using ie6 or ie 7 access tswa?

if unable see/enable terminal services activex control in ie7 on xpsp3 (we investigating this known issue) workaround can try deleting following registry keys:

hkcu\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\ext\settings\{7390f3d8-0439-4c05-91e3-cf5cb290c3d0}

hkcu\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\ext\settings\{4eb89ff4-7f78-4a0f-8b8d-2bf02e94e4b2}

once delete these keys, activex control should enabled in ie7.
