Question about AD sites

 hi,

we migrating active directory, directory service.
i working out number of sites need create.

we have number of physical main hub sites connected 100mb links , 2 remote sites connected 2mb links.
each site has ip subnet.

reading documentation microsoft, seems suggest need to create sites around wan links (low bandwidth)

so i need stay default config of 1 site? or create 1 site per subnet? or 3 sites 1 100mb linked sites , other 2 2mb sites

any and/or suggestions

thanks
gareth

well, "depends". if need "seperate" remote site bit logon or replication traffic increases , logon times inacceptably long, i'd consider putting them different sites. feasible if you're planning on using group policy heavily - software installation , folder redirection , friends behave non-working on "slow" connections. i'd make how many people working on sites , how traffic generate (not ds logon traffic overall traffic main site). knew guide?
