Windows Server 2003 not showing up on the network
i have windows server 2003 not show on network, although can ping it, access while typing in name , ip address of server in windows explorer.
computer browser option in services disabled. on advanced tcp/ip settings, wins tab, enable netbios on tcp/ip selected.
other servers , computers show on network one. has been long time started bother me.
not dc file server.
when run browstat status command on dc, says master browser dc , there 3 backup server master server.
else can done fix problem?
please suggest.

there has been lot of discussion on years how many machines should run computer browser service. microsoft documents on pretty old, since nt legacy application. if browstat shows there 3 backup browsers can't think of reason enable browser service on more servers. should plenty single segment.
