Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 Cross Forest Shared SMTP Migration Mail Flow HELP!

we in process of migrating exchange 2003 forest a exchange 2010 forest b. needs shared smtp (@test.com) co-exsistence period migration. outside email flows exchange 2003 relay emails exchange 2010 (via smtp connector). 2 way forest trust setup, dns conditional forwarding between 2 forests, have set exchange 2010 authrotative (for @test.com) , exchange 2003 non-authorative (i have setup dummy smtp domain @test.local authoraitive domain in email receipt policy, , set @test.com non authorative). , using fim 2010 sync mail enabled contacts exchange 2003 forest exchange 2010 forest , vice versa @test.com smtp address.

mail flow works short period before ndr gets generated. or inbound email (outside exchange 2003) stops working completely. there mail loop occuring or ndr loop not aware of?

(e.g. a configuration error in e-mail system caused message bounce between 2 servers or forwarded between 2 recipients.  contact administrator.<#5.4.6>)

i aware can change contact smtp user @test.local, issue when users reply email internal/external reciepts. (e.g. bob@test.com reply email jane@test.local , joe@gmail.com, when joe replys test.local cause ndr.

please advise, sorry long post, wanted detailed.
