Windows 2012 RemoteApp and Desktop Connection NOT working


hi highly appreciate help

1) windows 2012 standalone scenario (1 server - standard deployment) no issues when configuring remoteapp , desktop connections web feed client

2) standard deployment, 2 servers following distribution

server1: rd sh, rd wb, rd ls, rd broker

server2: rd sh, rd wb, rd ls (no broker here yet)

is not working, rule out client problem (win 7 or win8) since not working within server, certificates , fqdn fine. when configuring webfeed error i´m getting is

"the url you typed not have connection"

looks me there problem related broker or web access can´t figure out is

any error code in event viewer? if yes, check quoted microsoft,

identify , fix remoteapp , desktop connection url issues

to determine how fix error condition, examine error code report in event message text.

the event message can report following error codes:

  • ts_workspace_e_invalid_feed_xml (0x80040204l)
  • ts_workspace_e_bad_server_status (0x80040205l)
  • ts_workspace_e_zero_length_feed (0x80040207l)

ts_workspace_e_invalid_feed_xml (0x80040204l)

this error code indicates data coming remoteapp , desktop connection url not in correct format. must ensure remoteapp , desktop connection url correct. can creating new remoteapp , desktop connection.

to create new remoteapp , desktop connection:

  1. on client computer, open remoteapp , desktop connections. open remoteapp , desktop connections, click start, , click control panel. in search control panel box, type remoteapp , click set new connection remoteapp , desktop connections.
  2. in connection url box, type remoteapp , desktop connection url, , click next.
  3. on ready set connection page, click next.
  4. click finish.

ts_workspace_e_bad_server_status (0x80040205l)

this error code indicates server hosting remoteapp , desktop connection returning http status code not expected. use internet information services troubleshooting procedures further diagnose problem (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd364124(ws.10).aspx).

ts_workspace_e_zero_length_feed (0x80040207l)

this error indicates remoteapp , desktop connection url returning empty file. you must ensure remoteapp , desktop connection url correct. can creating new remoteapp , desktop connection.

to create new remoteapp , desktop connection:

  1. on client computer, open remoteapp , desktop connections. open remoteapp , desktop connections, click start, , click control panel. in search control panel box, type remoteapp , click set new connection remoteapp , desktop connections.
  2. in connection url box, type remoteapp , desktop connection url, , click next.
  3. on ready set connection page, click next.
  4. click finish.
  5. if issue still not resolved, use internet information services troubleshooting procedures further diagnose problem (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd364124(ws.10).aspx).

verify

to verify remoteapp , desktop connection configured correctly, should start remoteapp program published using remoteapp , desktop connection.

to start remoteapp program published using remoteapp , desktop connection:

  1. on client computer, click start, point all programs, point remoteapp , desktop connections, point enterprise remote access, , click remoteapp program.
  2. verify remoteapp program opens successfully.
