Using windows 2012 R2 essential as secondary DHCP Server

hi,

we have 230+ users static ip's.

going deploy dhcp server in network looking growing numbers of devices in ear days.

i have 1 2012 r2 box primary dhcp services. , planning use 1 2012r2 essential system secondary dhcp.

although not sure if feasible use essential server serve said number of users. essential designed support 25 users only.

note: servers not dc's. different.

if have increasing number of devices, can increase ip range in dhcp scope. make support more devices.

Global Catalog ?
