Macro to Set Checkbox Based on Value of SharePoint Document Property

i'm total beginner writing word macro, or in vba matter. figure want can't hard. have request forms (word documents - .dotm files) stored in sharepoint 2010 site. i've configured sharepoint content type 3 columns - each choice field yes or no values. perhaps use true/false when know more macros. client yes/no fields shown in document checkboxes - looks better! think need have macro runs whenever document opened check value of sharepoint columns - activedocument.contenttypeproperties("column name").value - and set activedocument.formfields("checkbox name").value true or false accordingly, using if else statement. i'll need reverse whenever document saved (check formfields , set contenttypeproperties).

so start? developer tab, macros, create...but what?
