Unable to configure port to use ssl certificate, error: 64 is not a valid hash


hi expert,

we have web services whereby need apply ssl certificate. have installed ssl certificate generated local computer account. web services url using port other 80. in case, need use httpcfg apply certificate port. however, when issue command httpcfg set ssl -i x.x.x.x:7047 -h thumbprint. when apply thumbprint in, there error message 64 not valid hash. 64 contained inside thumbprint.

is encounter issue before?

i suggest use

netsh http add sslcert

command configure certificate binding.
