Cannot Resolve Internal DNS

i installed windows server 2016 (with gui) test machine in our environment.  in short, when attempt ping active directory domain added test computer to, cannot resolve domain ip address.  it not allow me ping hosts on domain hostname, though can ping same hosts ip address.

-i can resolve domain using nslookup command.

-i can ping ip addresses of domain controllers when using known ip address of domain controllers.

-i able add computer domain (which baffles me why dns won't resolve).

-the machine has static ip address, 2 known dns servers (which domain controllers) dns entries.  i can ping both dns servers ip address.

-i have rebooted multiple times , restarted dns service multiple times.  i have flushed dns cache , routing tables multiple times.  i have tried static routes dns servers.

-the firewall off.

-i can log in utilizing active directory user account in domain, yet still cannot dns resolve domain ip address.

-i have connected test machine directly subnet domain controller resides.  i tried ping domain both static , dhcp addresses no avail.  note other computers put on same subnet able resolve domain name both dhcp , static addresses.

-i have reinstalled server 2016 twice, , problem still happens on fresh install.

-i can ping external hosts: can ping google.com , resolves.

please post unedited ipconfig /all of dc , problem machine.
