Server Infrastructure Licensing - Automatic Shut down

i have tried other threads pretty goes off in other directions :(

i joined new employer few months ago , inherited windows 2012 essentials server. have since discovered server shutting down automatically due errors in server infrastructure licensing.

i paste below example.

these 6 errors repeat on , on every few hours until server shuts down.

from trying research posts reference server 2008, or old kb articles not related 2012 or suggesting have other domain controllers. don't server intents , purposes works correctly , intended apart shutdown.

as understand essentials includes 25 licenses have 14 users. whilst on subject, looking @ when hit 25, im reading have buy server 2012 standard , in place license change, , have buy cals. mean have buy 25cals keep current users , buy more on top? or upgrade essentials include 25 licenses when switch? ms's documentation clear.

the documentation complete clear windows server essentials. not more 25 users allowed essential dc must have fsmo roles , no trusts other domains allowed, case in domain?

how many dcs in total have , how connected?

how many users , computers have in total?
