Impact of Domain policy on a local server account

good day,

i wondering impact on domain policy on local server account. in other words, have server logging onto domain inherits domain policies including audit, password restrictions, etc. understanding applies domain account not local account. way have activities logged local account set local policies.

is correct?

or domain policies apply domain , locally logged in accounts?

any feedback appreciated or if there official literature may identify this, great.

"computer" part of gpo apply regardless of kind of account user has.. applied if no user logs on machine. "user" part of policy taken gpo applies user's domain account. if log on local user account, local user policies apply. can override behavior activating loopback policy processing. loopback take "user" part of gpo  that applies machine , process when user logs on.

gleb.
