HyperV Service behavior during iSCSI storage failover

we have a 4 node 2008 r2 cluster using clustered shared volumes hyperv guests connected to iscsi storage clustered.  the storage 2 node sun 7410.  when failover the sun storage, the guests perform differently each time.  sometimes they pause until storage comes online, migrate to different 2008 r2 node or turn off , boot.  seems random since 2 guests i'm testing different things each time fail between sun storage heads.

what typical behavior of clustered application when its connection iscsi storage temporarily lost nodes?

is there way modify behavior?

the storage drops between 2 6 pings before responds when failing between the heads.  take minute or 2 before iscsi connection comes up.

before servers in cluster, guests pause 5 60 seconds until iscsi connections reconnected.

hi jon

you may check if settings of both storage nodes identical. i think should involve storage vendor check settings. [this may not right forum discuss this]

sorry generic answer
