AD groups and folder access

i in process of doing spring cleanup in ad. 

we have accumulated plethora of group accounts need cleaned up.

is there quick way can find if ad group assigned permissions to  data?..

you can use powershell that. here script returns shared or ntfs permissions folder:https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/lists-all-the-shared-5ebb395a

you can run script each of shared folders (you want via separate script too, if have lots of them).
