Mixed Windows 2008 R2 64 bit - Windows 2003 R2 32 bit Domain
i have domain 4 domain controllers. installed windows 2008 r2 domain controller , moved fsmo roles 2 4 weeks ago. have 3 other windows 2003 r2 domain controllers. staying undetermined period of time.
i have 3 buildings. building 1 main , 2 , 3 satellite locations.
i built second windows 2008 r2 server , installed exchange 2010 sp2 on weekend. server , running test mailboxes on it.
last evening user account became unusable. member of domain admins group. said password wrong. logged in administrator , checked account. not locked out. tried reset password old 1 , allowed on domain controller. tried log in , denied. claim password wrong. reset password different one. tried login , fine. wrong someplace...
i looked @ event logs , see wins replication errors not whole lot more. noticed when browse network computers in main building computers in other 2 buildings no longer show up. did before... has seen this? not have group policies setup make users change passwords. did check this. seem 1 effected @ point.
thank you, scott
as see, okay ad replication.
also, see adprep /rodcprep was finished without issues.
