which word version client use?

there's no point using content controls if of users still on word 2003, example. in case, client may have content formfields - or find business case upgrading.

conversely, using formfields isn't way go if client uses office 2007 & later exclusively. content controls far more flexible formfields , document in docx format supports more granular security. building blocks too, supported in office 2007 & later and, used in conjunction content controls, can give clients still greater flexibility.
