Hyper V Guest on Different subnets


i know if below mentioned scenario possible or not: hyper parent partition in subnet 192.168.x.y hyper v child partition (guest os) in different subnet 10.1.x.y parent partition has 2 nics, 1 management, 1 subnet 192.168.x.y default gateway , 1 subnet 10.1.x.y without default gateway. static routes have been added host 2nd subnet. communication work child partition 2nd network long settings of machine configured connect 2nd nic?

you have 2 nics , have parent , child on seperate subnets.  post confused me little on couple of points, i'll best help.  assuming subnets physically seperate, there 2 options.

1)  use 1 nic each subnet.  configure 1 parent nic 192.168 net.  unless teh parent needs access 10.1 network, disable protols except bridging protocol nic on parent.  connect vms nic vswitch uplinked 10.1 adapter.

2)  use vlans.  if company uses dynamic vlans, can tag traffic coming out of vm belonging specific vlan.  won't work static vlans, companies use.
