Windows Server 2008 R2 Folder Redirection - Local Folders Still Visible

hi guys,

we completed upgrading our ad 2008 r2 , have brought online our first server 2008 r2 terminal server. trying configure folder redirection , part looks working. have 2 outstanding issues:

1. in libraries icon on desktop see 2 locations:

- redirected folder (\\idc-fs-01\idc_users$\%username%\my documents)

- local folder c:\users\public documents

2. in user folder on desktop see 2 locations redirected folders, redirected folder , local one:

example

- redirected: \\idc-fs-01\idc_users$\%username%\favorites

- local: c:\users\%username%\favorites

how rid of public documents location default in libraries folder?

how hide local folders in user's local profile?

i'd avoid users saving things on c: drive , not on file server. hoping can done through group policy.

hi,

how check 2 locations? better if there picture show it. check gpo settings.
