Win 2008 Standard TS activated w/ CAL =5 but still states grace period expired and TS CALs =0

i have windows 2008 standard sp2 server grace period expired while waiting cal licenses obtained. have gone through steps (i think) activate server via "terminal server cal installation wizard" 5 cal licenses. went opened "terminal services confirguration" , changed license server discovery mode "as specified" , listed , ip , clicked "check names" , came "the servers specified valid terminal server license servers." here problem, click on "licensing diagnosis" , reads "ts cals not available terminal server, , license diagnosis has identified licensing problems terminal server."

total number of ts cals available clients: 0

terminal server version: windows server 2008

active directory domain: unknown         <--note: server sits in dmz no access domain

license mode: per device

discovery mode: use specified license servers

how server terminal server license server see can use own licenses?

the ts licensing manager show 5 licenses. concern server had gone beyond grace period , when got licenses , activated them on server, licensing diagnosis still reported error. took error not able connect more 2 sessions @ time till error resolved. not case have tested connection 4 connections @ once.

you correct. devices getting ts cals when connect. groing through different consoles after activating ts cals , hadn't tested connections of more 2 @ time. figuring wouldn't work b/c of error in licensing diagnosis screen. have tested total of 4 active connections , had no problems.
