sfc finished, but haven't yet tested DISM [was: sfc /scannow unable to get past 27% done, then quits with mssage ".... could not perform the requested operation"]

build 10049 (and i'll try again with build 10061 ... work i'll proceed to checking if dism helps)

i having problem spartan crashing. post suggested running sfc /scanown

when attempted with:
sfc /scannow
got 27% done , stopped message:
windows resource protection not preform requested operation.

i attempted "fix" several more times. once got 7% before stopping, , time 17%, each time message above ("could not perform").

sfc /scannow work after have perform dism command in windows 10 build 10049/10041.

with install media, recovery disk, or downloaded iso file, mount them drive x, after that, type following command in cmd admin prompt:

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:wim:x:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

haven't tried on windows 10 build 10061.

regarding spartan not working, in addition submit feedback, please try create new admin account , check issue again. 

meanwhile please keep machine updated, if has been updated windows 10 build 10061, there more updates arrived fix known issues.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine
