How to create a office network with only a HP Procurve Switch currently in place?

hello,

i know windows networking well.  have configured couple of office networks , understand windows networking techologies.  however, i've never had deal switches.  not sure switch is.

i working company has hp procurse switch.  need server (loading windows server , configuring it), add pcs domain , create software.  pretty straightforward.  would:

1)  server (really pc run windows server)
2)  pcs , load windows os
3)  configure server dns, dhcp, etc.
4)  router
5)  run cat 5 cables each pc router
6)  run cable router server
7)  have server connected internet cable.

now how connect server switch network connectivity , internet connectivity?  can give me gentle nudge in right direction project. as sad previously, i've not ever had deal switch office has. 

i hope have correct forum ask question (setup deployment).  if not, please let me know post this.

you should connect switch router wan/internet port , connect servers/workstations switch. switch have many more ports router might need router firewall etc before passing internet traffic network
