Application fails on Microsoft Server 2008 SP2


hello,

i'm running 2 windows server 2008 x64 machines sp2 installed. on these machines application called mailmarshal in installed (according manufacturer) should work fine windows server 2008 (with sp2). 1 of services application stops out of blue:

faulting application mmreceiver.exe, version 6.5.4.0, time stamp 0x4a19eda3, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e03824, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0004e252, process id 0x1d8, application start time 0x01ca198c5574ff23.

i contacted manufacturer , tell me it's not problem because mmreceiver.exe dependent on ntdll.dll microsoft dll it's not problem. know search root cause of problem? on both machines.

please contact manufacturer first confirm whether compatible windows server 2008 64bit. if so, please update latest version.

 

if issue persists, suggest disabling third party startup programs , services using msconfig.exe utility shipped windows server 2008. use tool, can refer following microsoft knowledge base article:

if problem not occur, indicates problem related 1 application or service have disabled. may use msconfig tool again re-enable disabled item 1 one find out culprit.

 

if issue still occurs, please understand troubleshoot blue screen issues, need perform debugging. however, in forum, not provide debugging support. if perform debugging, please contact microsoft customer support service (css).
