Windows Server 2012 UEFI RAID5 Installation Problem

i downloaded windows server 2012 rc , trying install on uefi raid5 boot drive composed of 5 x 2 tb drives (8 tb available).

amd fx-8150 cpu

msi 970a-g46 motherboard

using exact same hardware able install whs 2011 on single raid5 uefi boot drive. during installation process prompted msi raid driver , once provided see single 8 tb drive.  the installation of whs 2011 completed normally.

i have not installed windows hyper-v server 2008 r2 sp1, initial installation screens correct me.  (i not see drive problem mentioned below.)  so believe should work.

i under impression windows server 2012 might require uefi boot?  from looking @ iso provided microsoft saw bootx64.efi in efi boot directory.

but when try install datacenter core version point of choosing drive , without providing msi raid driver see 5 of 2 tb drives listed individually.  this not happen either whs 2011 or hyper-v 2008.  (in cases don't see drives, after installing msi raid driver see single 8 tb drive.)

i tried using hyper-v 2008 r2 sp1 initialize raid5 drive , setup 3 partitions.  (i believe system, msr, , data?)  then stopped installation , went trying install windows sever 2012 rc.

this time still saw 5 drives listed (even before providing msi raid driver), first drive showed 8 tb in size (rather 2 tb had before).  even though did not right tried install anyway, failed.

when installing whs 2011 found had boot msi efi shell , there loaded xxxx.efi file in order complete whs 2011 installation.  i tried renaming bootx64.efi on windows server 2012 installation , booted system msi efi shell, none of various xxxx.efi loaders had (from several versions of windows) worked correctly.  each attempt @ installation failed.

in searching solution found can enter shift-f10 during installation process , dos prompt.  from there started diskpart.  i not 100% sure of this, believe when installed whs 2011 diskpart showed single gpt volume 8 tb in size?  when use diskpart during windows server 2012 rc installation see 5 2 tb drives individually listed.  (which matches gui installer showing me.)

at point not if problem msi uefi bios?  or problem windows server 2012 rc?  i'm guessing motherboard not correctly identifying raid5 drive windows , why see 5 individual 2 tb drives during installation process (rather being prompted load raid driver)?

can me resolve particular problem?  or have been able similar uefi boot work windows server 2012 rc (using drive larger 2.2 tb in size)?  if i'd know cpu , motherboard using.

thanks can provide.

msi responded trouble ticket , said windows server 2012 has not been validated on 970a-g46 , not supported.  i hopeful msi provide uefi bios update before windows server 2012 release public, @ moment there doesn't appear alternative.

one thing found bit surprising intel motherboard not prompted provide raid drivers.  i don't know if true of other motherboards, looks an enhancement to windows server 2012 simplify raid installations.

if has solution, other waiting msi provide uefi bios fix, 970a-g46 raid5 problem appreciate hearing you.
