Found & Identified RDWeb problem. Need guidance to implement solution

using windows server 2012 standard domain server in small business environment. (15 computers max).

am set externally, , outside network can connect https://mysite.com/rdweb no problems. when click "connect computer" option, fill in computer name , click connect. note rd gateway servername server.mysite.com instead of mysite.com obviously, can't connect remote computer. however, if start rd program , fill in rg credentials should (mysite.com) connect no problems.

i'm "guessing" need dns. need add host record? if so, i"ve no idea where. guidance appreciated.

update: found solution.

open iis manager , navigate default web site/rdweb/pages/en-us

open application settings and change defaulttsgateway correct address

default address servername.mysite.com  changing mysite.com fixed issue. 1 thing noted changing 1 level below @ pages, not inherited en-us.

difference between wuauclt1.exe and wuauclt.exe

what difference between wuauclt1.exe , wuauclt.exe files ( under system32 folder ) ? in of cases, windows update service is not working client machines having these 2 files. even tried delete wuauclt1.exe, created automatically. what difference between wuauclt1.exe , wuauclt.exe files ( under system32 folder ) ? the wuauclt1.exe (and sister file wuaueng1.dll) components of legacy au agent shipped operating systems released prior 2005. Windows 2016 RDS event 1306 Connection Broker Client failed to redirect the user... Error: NULL

i'm attempting setup windows 2016 rds standard deployment session hosting.  layout follows: rds01 - rds connection broker , web access ts02 - rds session host ts03 - rds session host domain these servers part of has (1) windows 2008 server , (2) windows 2016 servers acting dcs.  domain running @ windows 2003 functional level. servers on single routed network no firewall between them.  dns , ptr records servers exist , resolve on hosts.  servers can pinged each other. in other words, there no network connectivity issues. i've setup rds deployment several times w/ same results. the issue can login via rdweb interface on rds01 win10 desktop , connect published rdp desktop without issue (i.e. no error messages user) , no errors in logs.  when try directly rdp rds01, authenticate user (per event log) error stating user doesn't have access system.  in event log event id 1306 message of "remote desktop connection broker client faile...
