Disable self update search, windows update agent.

hi,

i want disable self update windows update agent.
when scan control panel, machine checks self updates times. want disable feature. self update check should skipped , rest of scan should proceed normally.

is there registry entry or gpedit option so.
informative links can do.

i can't find official document how disbale self update.

besides, not recommended disable self update. if version of update agent old, update fail.
