Contradicting Reports

i have 2 reports i run on monthly basis. after running these 2 reports found on the report 1 computers listed had 0 in needed column. when ran report two i had 1 computer show needed 11 updates. when looked @ report 1 computer not listed. why machine not show in first report???????

report 1

report type - tabular
update classification - classification
products - product
groups - run 1 each group have created
include computers status of - installed/not applicable, needed, failed

report 2

report type - detailed
update classification - classification
products - product
groups - run 1 each group have created
include computers status of -  needed, failed



any ideas?!?!?!!??!!?

if machine reporting in first report , not second, indicate correctly reported "not applicable", consistent statement "it no longer needed patches". wouldn't in log; machine appears reporting correctly.
