Custom remote app icons do not display on web access page

hi guys,

i have selection of remote apps published , display , run fine on web access page.

the apps pointing internet explorer c:\program files (x86)\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
on argument line point them particular site etc

each seperate entry , has different icon applied it. when apps displayed on web access page ie icon appears.

i created new app following same lines used 64bit version c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe , custom icon appears.

any ideas why not load custom icon when publishing x86 version?

setup details below, 2008 r2 servers

server1 - gateway , web access situated in dmz

server2 - connection broker , session host in corp network

server3 - session host , license server

hi so82, try deleting rdp cache on web server in c:\windows\web\rdweb\pages\rdp (default location).  delete files in there , try accessing website again.  should force web server refetch settings app server or connection broker , associated icons.

Disconnecting from a Windows Server 2012 R2 file sharing session on a Windows 7,8,10 machine

Event ID 64,77,1008 Certificates Events Windows Server 2008, 2008R2
