creating share on 2003 R2


hey friends, want create shared directory(read only) on windows 2003 r2 server, can access thses files without using username , password i.e if searches location using ip address(\\150.10.36.102) should provided files , directories shared without authentication. if wants write or change file in shared directory he/she has provide domain username , password. can done both things @ same time?

please me out in this.

in security settings, double-click local policies, , click security options, enable the "network access: let permissions apply anonymous users". anoymous users can still access folder shared read only.

then give proper user group write/edit permission, have permission these actions.

note: clients still authenticated logon domain accounts when access folders.
