Cannot connect to hostednetwork running on Home Server 2011

my home server running windows home server 2011 (based on windows server 2008 r2).

recently connected asus usb-ac56 wifi device it. works when connecting wireless networks.

now try set hostednetwork:

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=testnet key=12345678

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

everything seems started. command "netsh wlan show hostednetwork" tells me , running, command "netsh wlan show hostednetwork security" tells me network key 12345678.

the problem is: clients cannot connect. tried windows phone 8, android device , windows 8.1 notebook: can see network, trying connect results in "cannot connect, invalid network key" (they tell in local language, not sure exact english error message).

what should make work?

they'll on here.
