Able to connect to WHS 2011 box in Win 10, until any software is updated
i can connector software work both of machines in home (one win 7 pro win 10 upgrade, 1 brand new hp envy came win 10). however, on reboot it's crap shoot whether connector work or not. if doesn't, 'do want in disconnected mode' question , way fix uninstall, reboot, , reinstall connector. seems happen whenever gets updated - windows update, steam, office, whatever software, 75% of time update whacks connector software.
needless say, incredibly frustrating. suggestions on how can running , stable?
according description, understanding of updates(windows update, steam, office, whatever software) break connector on client.
know, windows 10 feature upgrade may break client connector windows server 2012/2012 r2 essentials , sbs 2011 essentials. whoever, whs 2011 not included.

on client, make sure necessary whs related services(named “windows server …”) running.
compare status of services before , after problem occurred, check see if there difference. or, try manually re-start services.

there 3rd party software, such software management tool, anti-virus program, , etc. try disable them (if any) temporarily , check result.
since connector re-installation works, , problem related new installation(update), try confirm if new installation break connector/related installation files.
