2008 (not R2) System State restore failed due to lack of disk space. Now SxS is HUGE

i did system state restore in order perform authoritative backup in active directory. used backup exec 2012 perform restore, that's our backup system. restoration wrote lot of data (including needed) failed due 60g c drive being full. before restoration, had 15g free. disk full, sxs taking more space ever (45gig), , can't clean because i'd run compcln on machine (months ago). what can in order clean system partition sxs holding on more ever of disk. more disk, repartitioning, etc not options. i can't use dism because server 2008 (not r2).

(bold emphasize people automatically suggest me).

thanks insight can provide.
