Paste Special - What is MERGE formatting
merge formatting sounds "keep text only" in other words, text being pasted take on attributes of paragraph of destination.
can tell me "merge formatting" means , does? (see arrow diagram icon looks like.)
"merge formatting" means formatting data pasted , not actual text. example, let's say you have text says, "word1" , says "word2." "word1" in arial font no bold or underline. "word2" in times new roman bold , underlines. now, copy operation on "word2." merge formatting copied "word2" "word1" impart bold , underline attributes resulting in "word1" being in arial font bold , underline.
